*The following is basically a nightmare I had a couple years back, but of course I made it more dramatic for you guys to read.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had just finished brushing my teeth when my mom told me to get into bed.

"I am, Let me turn off the TV!"

I flick the TV off. We had just finished a pretty good movie. I liked it a lot and decided to draw a picture of one of the characters the next day. I yawn, sliding into bed. I then quickly throw my blanket and covers over my head completely but made room for my nose and mouth to stick out of the blanket, just enough to where I wouldn't suffocate under my three inch blanket. I had a fear of something or someone watching me...or even worse grab me in my sleep, and like any kid you feel safe when you can't be seen.

It always took me a long time to fall asleep, an hour at the most so I would always use my spare time thinking. I thought a lot actually. Sometimes my mind would wander into my own little world and other times it would wander around, asking...strange yet good questions. Like why do we see things differently from others? I would always wonder such things but never say my thoughts a lot. Most of my thoughts and opinions I keep to myself, fearing if I let them out someone would point and laugh or turn their nose up to it and punish me. Tonight my mind took a different route. My mind began thinking of what would happen if my mom...or any of my family really weren't there. What would happen to me?

I shake my head, getting this outrageously serious questions out of my head. Soon enough, sleep takes over me.

My nose it filled with the scent of dead leaves and gasoline. I look around and see my moms car, parked on the edge of a run down town. What were we doing here? I walk over to the all too familiar van and call out to my family.

"Mom? Are you there?"

Silence echo's the area. I hated how loud my voice sounded. It was like an alarm had been set off in a treasury, signaling and intruder. I look around whimpering.

"Mom?

I walk slowly into town, my sneakers crunching on top of dead twigs and leaves. I looked around slowly, scanning for any sign of my parent. I hated being alone in unknown places. I always stay with an adult in locations I am not familiar with. So you could say I have a slight paranoia of being lost. Common fear if you ask me.

As I walk further into the town square, I stop. The air had suddenly become still and dry. It was hard to breath. I look towards the town exit. It had a sign dangling from it, but it was too damaged for me to read. My ears pick up a sound. I freeze as the sound gets louder and louder. Crows start flying in from the exit, crowing loudly. I yelp and try to move away but my feet were stuck in their place. Then that thing...leaped down from the hillside. It was huge. Black. It looked like an over sized coyote. It looked at me with its empty black eyes. Only the lights refection revealed that they were even there. I whimper as it started towards me slowly, then accelerated into a walk which lead to a full sprint towards me.

I tried to move. Believe me...I tried. But I couldn't. Its coming towards me. Its black fur racing in the wind. Its black eyes fixed on me, hunger clouding them. I'm terrified. Please. Wake me up. PLEASE. NOW! WAKE UP! It leaps at my face, jaws open wide.

...Black...

I wake up gasping, sitting up. I whimper as I wipe the sweat from my face. I quickly lay back down, cowering under my covers. I keep seeing it. Out of the corner of my eye, my mind plays tricks, making illusions of the coyote leaping at me. I can't close my eyes. It'll get me. I can't look around. It'll get me. I have to wait for morning. I feel tears run down my face. I will never go to sleep with out making sure a light is on again. The Blackness of my room only hides my fear and makes it harder to sleep. I'll...have to wait till morning. I'm too scared to go to moms room. Don't move. Don't make a sound. It will get you if you do. It will find you. With it's crows. Don't...look into the black corner of your room...don't...
yeah...had a nightmare of walking through a town, having crows come out and then a giant black coyote coming out and getting me. Worst nightmare I ever had. Anyway I hope you like my...creepy pasta inspired story
