The Success...[gift]

Thunder crashes outside, water smacking against the windows hard. The clattering of machines filled the room as Salakirby worked. He smacks the wrench against his new work of art, finishing up.

"Oh I am so excited! I hope you don't end up like the others..."

He had been trying to build this machine for the longest time. He had failed exactly 32 times. He prayed to God that it worked this time. He smacks the machine once more before adding a voice box. He closes the chamber and then throws the switch. Electricity shoots through it, making its circuits rattle. It then falls silent. He stares expectantly. After 2 minutes he sighs sadly.

"Another failure..."

Just as he was about to pick it up and throw it into the spare parts pile, it moved. He freezes, his eyes wide. It slowly sat up, tilting its head and opening its robotic eyes. It blinked and curled its tail before glancing at its creator.

"I am MuFfInS 32.1. What is your name?"

The robot spoke loudly and clearly, blinking. Salakirby claps his hands and cries out full of joy.

"OH MY GOSH IT WORKS! IT WORKS!"

He hugs his creation tightly.

"I am salakirby and you are my new friend!"
